"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved."

John 3.16-17

U. S. President Barak Obama

Your Honor,

I do not believe anyone has to tell you that America is in big trouble. That should be obvious to everyone. The question is what can be done about it?

Democrats believe that the solution is to have them in office. Republicans believe that the solution is to have them in office. Both are in error.

If we check with the true American history we will find that it was the God who gave us the Bible to be our guide who made this the greatest nation on the face of the earth. He did it through men who put their trust in Him and sought a nation that would be in harmony with the Bible. Thus it continued into the 20th century. I can’t say that there was no evil. There has always been and will always be both good and evil, but good had the upper hand.

After the First World War we began to drift. Pearl Harbor woke us up. There was a strong return to the realization of our dependence on God and He stood by us and gave us the victory. Then we started hearing the boasting about “what we accomplished with our armed might.” We became allied with other countries without regard for their spiritual strength or moral values - the moral and spiritual values of Americans also going downhill as if they were on skis. People in a position of authority and influence while showing contempt for God and all of the good that He represents, while accepting as normal the things that to Him are an abomination.

What has been the result of this rejection of God? Trouble, trouble everywhere! From the world’s most prosperous nation to trillions of dollars in debt. From a nation that was loved, feared and respected by all other countries to the laughing stock and, perhaps, most hated nation. Constantly at war, but never to win. Unless we get back to God soon, America will be no more.

It is time for you and all the other important people to realize that we will all, including you, stand before His judgment seat to be judged by the God who is no respecter of persons. Before Him we are all sinners, which puts us all on the same level. Some will have accepted His offer of forgiveness and salvation and will have a happy eternity. Most will reject His offer or try to accept it on their own or some other people’s terms and have a very unhappy eternity.

You and the other members of Congress can accept His offer of salvation on the terms He gives in the New testament Scriptures and save your souls and run this country in a way that will please Him and, on judgment day, hear, “Well done good and faithful servant,” or you can run it to please the special interest people and hear, “Depart from me into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” The choice is yours. Will you place our beloved country in the hands of the One who can save her or will you let the self-serving special interest people destroy her?

From a citizen who respects God and loves his country,

Ernest Carlson

The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Matthew 9.37

What kind of worship do YOU prefer: formal, casual, progressive, or conservative? Is not a better question, "What does God say about the church?"

Jesus purchased the church, Acts 20.29
Jesus said "I will build My church", Matthew 16.18
Jesus is the Head of the Church, Ephesians 1.22-23

Shouldn't the church be Christ centered? Join us as we aim to follow the teachings of Christ and his apostles. God has made the Holy Bible, His divine Word, our rule of faith and no other by-laws. No central organization oversees the churches of Christ, there is no headquarters, rather, each congregation is independent but we are all one in Christ, 1 Corinthians 1.10.

Join us here every time the doors are open. You will be our honored guest and will find warmth, welcome, friendship, and support like you never thought possible. Feel free to contact us any time with questions you may have. No question is unimportant that may affect your soul's destination. We'd love to help and we'd love to have you join us as we strive together to serve the God who made us.
